BOARD LASTING
Board lasting is an efficient method for securing the shoe upper to the last, ensuring durability in the overall construction. The open upper is placed into a lasting machine, which grips and pulls it tightly around the last. The last is prepped with a paperboard lasting board, and in a single operation, the machine injects glue between the upper and lasting board.
